Makes you think, doesn't it?
Mary MacADNski: I always say I'm the only one who goes to this beach. Apparently not!
It looks like something written in the sand... Definitely makes you ponder...
Mary MacADNski: This is carved in sandstone, Jen.
Maybe Art and Maddy will see this.
Mary MacADNski: Wouldn't that be something?
.....did they live happely ever after...I wonder....they must have been for a long time on that beach, very well spotted.
Mary MacADNski: I wonder too. Thanks, Astrid.
A&M...too fearful to come out...too ashamed of hiding their "forbidden" love...just left this sculpture on your beach, and walked hand-in-hand out into the cold briny...perhaps the sharks will be appreciative...
Mary MacADNski: That could be it.....
Lovely pink sands ... richard
Mary MacADNski: This is carved in the sandstone rock, Richard. It will be a bit more permanent.
An original capture Mary. I like the texture and the colour of the earth!
Mary MacADNski: This is carved in rock. It will be there for a long time.
I wonder where they are now?
Mary MacADNski: I always say I'm the only one who goes to this beach. Apparently I am not!
Interesting!!
Mary MacADNski: Yes, grafitti everywhere.
I hope they are still together Mary as the inscription is fading
Mary MacADNski: It will be gone in a year. Hopefully they last longer.
well, they are there forever...
Mary MacADNski: Yes, until it flakes off.
Hmmm.. I wish people would not do this! I'd ratehr they appreciated the view, whatever, and then left it as they found it for others to enjoy! Not your fault, Mary, of course.
Mary MacADNski: The sandstone is very soft and gets saltspray which, with that combination, will have it flaked off in a year.
Maddy could be your real name and you do art. That could still mean that you are the only going to that beach
Mary MacADNski: I'm not Maddy - or Art, though I do know two Maddy's from the area and one, who is an acquaintance, has been there at the same time as me. I'm guessing it could be her.
Looks prehistoric to me !! Maddy the cave woman ... em.. not so sure now. :o) Nice textures and colour. John
