Let Him Fly

The title could have been "Which Way is South?"
Mary MacADNski: LOL That would have been good.
What a beautiful shot, Mary. Love the black birds against the snowy white trees.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Kay. They were waiting for breakfast.
but of course, if Kay didn't mention it, I would have totally forgotten that it was snow on the trees, now that I see that, I even agree more with Micheal
Mary MacADNski: The title I chose came from the song but Michael's would have been good too.
Awesome shot Mary, love the black birds against the stunning blue sky!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Michelle. It was great to see some blue sky for a change.
Two love birds, what a way to start a new day!!! Love this one Mary, the blue sky, the tree against it........bravo
Mary MacADNski: They were waiting for breakfast.
AND, along with everything else that has been said, I LOVE your repertoire of songs, Mary! You take the cake!
Mary MacADNski: I'll take the cake and eat it too. Thanks, Ginnie. Congrats on being interviewed for the stone piece. Great job!
Like the birds, but love the tree, Mary.
Bbrrrrrrrr! Looks chilly!
Mary MacADNski: Brrrr is right.
The song would fit ray's blog of today.
Bye, bye blackbird Thanks for all your songs. Great picture of birds, snow and trees.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Louis. There were lots and lots of birds today. I had a more appropriate song, Black Crow, but it was removed from my pages. Darn copyright stuff.
Great song--again. Lovely sky...so blue it almost looks springish, but that snow and the tree tells me that spring is a while away.
Mary MacADNski: I really love this song. She has another, Long Ride Home, that I like a lot too. Very honest writing.
It was nice to see blue sky. It has been gloomy, snowy and cold.
Hi Mary, I have recently discovered Patty Griffin.. exquisite singer songwriter.Unfortunately our access to music is blocked from work.. so have to listen later.
Great contrast in your photo...
Mary MacADNski: I like her a lot and I love her song Long Ride Home. Do you know it. Both these songs are about wake up break ups.
Muy bueno el contraste entre el arbol nevado y el negro de esos pájaros!
Very good the contrast between arbol made snow-white and the black of those birds!
Mary MacADNski: Gracias, Senor.
Beautyful composition Mary. Contrasts between birds, tree and sky are great
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Richard. We finally got some blue sky.
It's a bird day on SC today !
Mary MacADNski: It truly is bird day on SC and there are some really fabulous shots including your little purple legged fellow.
Lovely winter tree, really stark, but still pretty.
Mary MacADNski: This one is pretty with it's kinky branches.
I like the black birds in the chaotic pattern that nature has made here. You have a very good eye...
Mary MacADNski: Thank you. that is kind of you to say. This birch is a different variety than most. It may have been planted before I bought the house twenty-four years ago. It is kinkier than the usual birches and does not have the red cast that is so distinct in the winter. It is a slow grower too; not like the normal native species.
Two little dicky birds sitting on a tree
Mary MacADNski: LOL I think they like each other.
Looks like they are holding a conference!
Mary MacADNski: I think they're kissing. LOL
Funny pictue and accurate song !!
Mary MacADNski: Great song isn't it? I think these crows in my back yard are married. They are always together.
One for sorrow two for joy! Nice shot!
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, n.b. I like crows a lot.
