To the Right
I was surprised to see a bit of snow at the bottom of the road.

Great shot, love the red clay.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Gail.
Funny thing, Mary...last time we went up-country, I took the boy down to a big pond near the village temple, and gave him his first lesson in stone skipping.
I would have a sore arm after visiting your beautiful beach.
Mary MacADNski: I was skipping stones here yesterday - against the wind so not very successfully. You have to build up slowly to prevent sore arm disease.
Lovely red colors. The horizon line is a little centered for my taste, but I like how soft the light is, the corner of snow you captured in the picture, and the lines of the branches.
Mary MacADNski: Thanks, Jewlya
The do look to be lots of suitable stones for skimming here. I used to love doing that!
Mary MacADNski: I was skipping stones here yesterday. Still a kid at heart.

I like the low angle in this with the focus on the red pebbles. Its quite a defined high water mark you have there; shame about the discarded bottle.
Mary MacADNski: There are discarded bottles everywhere. I quite often bring a bag and pick it up and will soon. The tide was just beginning to go out.
Such colorful pebbles. When is that snow going to disappear Mary.
I see you have been 'found' by Saikat Bose too.
Mary MacADNski: I will be ignoring Saikat Bose. The snow will be gone soon. It is only found in isolated places and at the edges of the woods.
Beautiful shot Mary. Very nice perspective here! I like the red pebbles.
Mary MacADNski: Lot of pebbles here. Lots to skip across the water.
I still want to start fishing here Mary
Mary MacADNski: I bet you can. I did see surf fishing on the North Shore and every wharf has someone fishing. My son could fix you up.
That is a great composition, Mary. Once again, that PEI colour floors me.
Mary MacADNski: There are some coming up that will definitely floor you as the sky was blue. The water becomes blue and the red really changes. I have two weeks of shots from two trips to the beach.
I love it that the bottom of your road looks like this. It transports me every time I see your shots of the area.
Lovely - snow or no snow!
Mary MacADNski: A car can't drive down right now. You have to use your feet. Just how I like it. Keeps it more private.
